Our pigs our fed non-GMO, organic feed to supplement what they forage for themselves from our pasture and woodland. The pigs are finished on the apples, pears, plums and acorns which fall from our fruit and oak trees. You won’t believe the difference in flavour until you try it!

Hog Wild Farming Co. is a family run farm located just outside of Mattawa, Ontario. We purchased this farm after being frustrated by the inaccessibility of high quality, ethically raised meat products. Our mission is to produce delicious and nutritious food for our neighbours while respecting the nature of the animals we raise

We are passionate about producing the highest quality product in an ethical fashion. We are a small family operation. This means we currently raise just 20 pigs per year. Secure your pork now to avoid missing out.

Step 1: Select the Quantity

After hitting the order button, you will be asked to choose a side of pork or the entire hog. Our average pig is about 250 lbs when it’s brought to market. A side typically yields roughly 70 lbs, while a whole hog is roughly 140 lbs of pork in your freezer although individual pig sizes vary

Step 2: Fill in the Cut Sheet

Our guided cut sheet helps you select your choice of pork chop thickness, roast sizes, smoking options, sausage flavours, etc. Our easy guide will help you understand the cuts and make the process simple.

Step 3: Complete the Order

A deposit is required to secure your order. Your deposit helps us pay the costs associated with raising the pigs in the spring. You will pay the remaining balance once your pork is ready. The total will depend on the size of your pig and the custom butchering options you have selected.

Step 4: Ready for Pickup

You will be informed 3-4 weeks before the pork is ready for pickup. We will announce a date, and location in your neighborhood. We bring your full order frozen, in our fully refrigerated delivery van. If alternate arrangements need to be made, they can be done at this time.

  • $6.99/lbs hanging weight.
  • Butchering fees $0.69/lbs for cut and wrap. $1.75 for smoking and sausage making
  • A typical side of pork has a hanging weight of roughly 95lbs.
  • The total cost tends to be between $700 and $800 depending on options
  • Your deposit is subtracted from the total which is due on delivery
  • FULL PIG [$500 Deposit]

  • $6.49/lbs hanging weight.
  • Butchering fees $0.69/lbs for cut and wrap. $1.75 for smoking and sausage making
  • A typical pig has a hanging weight of roughly 160lbs.
  • The total cost tends to be between $1200-$1350 depending on options
  • Your deposit is subtracted from the total which is due on delivery
